OEM 300ZX (Z32) Battery Tie Down Long Rod.
This is the Long Battery Tie Down Rod located at the rear of the battery. Its purpose is to secure the Tie Down Bar against the battery so that the battery remains still while the vehicle is in motion. Over time this rod my wear down or break causing the battery to shift or rattle.
