California compliant OEM Nissan Catalytic Converter for 2005-2011 Nissan Frontier, Xterra and Pathfinder models that are equipped with the 4.0L (VQ40DE) powertrain. These catalytic converters are sold without gaskets.
Over time, the catalytic converters may clog up due to the build up of carbon deposits, and this will cause the internal honeycomb filter to heat up and possibly melt or deform. A vehicle without properly functioning catalytic converters will not pass an emissions test if your city/county requires this government vehicle inspection.
