Nissan's Matic-D ATF Transfer Case Fluid and Automatic Transmission Fluid for use in 1998-2004 Nissan Frontier (D22) / 2000-2004 Nissan Xterra (WD22) / 1996-2004 Nissan Pathfinder (R50). This fluid is ONLY to be used in the Transfer case in the aforementioned models.
Nissan Fluids are blended for specific applications. Always check the service manual to determine the correct transmission fluid for your particular vehicle. Use of a fluid other than the recommended fluid can cause transmission or transfer case damage. Damaged by the use of an incorrect fluid is not covered by Nissan warranty.

Nissan has discontinued Matic-D and states to use Matic-J as a replacement.
