Looks flat gray from package. Make sure to remove emblem it's actually chrome.

It works well but is plastic and priced way too expensive for just a plastic emblem. Was expecting a metal emblem at least for $50.

It made a difference in the appearance on my Z. The old emblem was looking bad. It’s the attention to detail that makes a older vehicle look new again.
