OEM Rear A/C Expansion Valve for 2005-2012 Nissan Pathfinder models.
The expansion valve is one of the most important pieces in the air conditioning system on your car. The purpose of the expansion valve is to reduce pressure in the A/C system to allow the liquid refrigerant to change to a vapor in the condenser. Often times when these fail, the A/C refrigerant fails to cool off a sufficient amount, reducing your A/C's efficiency.
NOTE:When servicing the A/C system it is important that the system is vacuumed to remove moisture prior to use. Failure to properly vacuum the system will freeze and damage the expansion valve.
