The Expansion Valve is one of the most important pieces in the air conditioning system on your car. It reduces pressure in the A/C system to allow the liquid refrigerant to change to a vapor in the condenser. Often times when these fail, the A/C refrigerant fails to cool off a sufficient amount, reducing your A/C's efficiency.

NOTE: When servicing the A/C system, it is important that the system is vacuumed to remove moisture prior to use. Failure to properly vacuum the system will cause freezing and damage the expansion valve. This Valve is also included in the complete A/C Evaporator Assembly for your D41 Frontier; available HERE.
