Z1's Carbon Fiber Strut Tower Brace for the 2023+ Nissan Z was designed with two purposes; to minimize weight and to look great!
Typical carbon braces are made from multiple carbon fiber rods that are chemically bonded to rod ends and bolted together. Z1's carbon fiber strut brace is crafted from a single large section of hand-laid carbon fiber and bonded only to the CNC-machined billet end plates. This reduces flex in the bar and provides a visually seamless appearance as there are no attachment points between sections of the bar. Through the use of machined billet aluminum and carbon fiber, the weight of the brace is reduced from 8.6 lbs to only 2.9 lbs, a 66% reduction from the heavy stock brace.
