The Z1 Steering Wheel Quick Release is the next generation in safety and performance, combining durability with ease of use. After years of testing other quick-release hubs, we saw an opportunity to innovate—and we did.
At the heart of Z1's quick-release is a bar lock mechanism made up of 2 spring-loaded stainless steel locking pins. When the steering wheel is attached, these pins engage a precision-machined recess in the hub creating a solid and positive lock feel every time. Quick-connect terminals are found on the wheel and column side for easy horn wiring adaptation.
Compact Design: This unique lock mechanism allows us to keep the total height of the assembly at just 43mm, or 1.7", positioning the wheel closer to the steering column.
Universal Steering Wheel Fit: Machined to fit two common bolt patterns, 6x70mm and 6x74mm. This covers brands like Nardi, Sparco, Momo, OMP, NRG, and more!
Easy Alignment: The asymmetric hub ensures the wheel installs in only one position—no guesswork.
Effortless Use: A machined taper allows the wheel to slide easily into place without needing to pull the release collar.
Integrated Horn Circuitry: A custom PCB with spring-loaded connectors was designed to make for seamless integration with aftermarket horn buttons.
