The media used in Z1's drop-in air filters is the very same media used in all Z1 Cold Air Intakes. The cotton-based media can be washed and reused, providing great value. While other brand filters have an oversized frame that reduces the effective surface area of the filter media, Z1 drop-in air filters were engineered to properly fit the factory airbox, maximizing filter surface area for optimal flow and performance!
