Z1's Nissan Titan Differential Cover Shield was designed to protect your rear end from taking a pounding when wheeling in rough terrain.
WHY DO I NEED IT?
When navigating rough or rocky terrain, many approaches may require you to back up and re-position your truck to overcome difficult obstacles. In these cases, it is possible to back the differential cover into a rock, often tearing the cover open and draining the fluid. In other situations you may find yourself sliding off of a rock, and landing on the cover, causing the same damage. When you're in the woods and away from civilization, this can be catastrophic.
Z1's Differential Cover Shield was designed to protect your differential cover from both of these scenarios, preventing damage that may not be otherwise avoidable. The cover is manufactured from 5mm thick steel and finished with a heavy-duty satin black powder coat. It bolts in place over the rear differential cover using the lower four bolt holes and covers the lower third of the cover, the portion most susceptible to damage. The cover is compatible with the factory stamped steel differential cover and cast aluminum finned cover, Installation takes little time, and hardware is included with purchase.
