This kit contains all fluids, gaskets and drain plug washers needed when servicing the 5-speed Automatic Transmission in your 2000-2004 Nissan Xterra. Freshen up your Transmission with the confidence and reliability of this OEM Nissan Service Kit!
Includes:
- 9x Nissan Matic-J Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)
- 8.75 quarts required to fill 2WD models. Once 8.38 quarts are added, the fluid should start to drip from the fill hole to indicate proper levels.
- 9 quarts required to fill 4WD models. Once 9 quarts are added, the fluid should start to drip from the fill hole to indicate proper levels.

Note: Nissan and Infiniti Automatic Transmission Fluids are blended for specific applications. Please refer to your Nissan factory service manual to ensure you are using the correct fluid for your vehicle. Improper fluid will eventually damage the transmission. Damage by the use of an incorrect fluid is not covered by Nissan/Infiniti warranty.
Nissan has discontinued Matic-D fluid and recommends using Matic-J as a replacement.
This kit now includes Matic-J in place of Matic-D.
