This OEM Battery Terminal is designed to be a direct replacement for your existing terminal and can be replaced with basic hand tools within a few short minutes. This only replaces the negative terminal.

Under normal conditions, your battery is designed to vent excess gases to prevent pressure from building up on the plates. This process causes harmful acids and gases to reach the metals on top of the battery case, more specifically the battery terminals and fusible link. This can lead to a build up of corrosion, which in short time can erode the metal terminal and reduce the terminals contact patch to the battery post causing no-start or hard start conditions.
