OEM 1996-2004 Nissan Pathfinder Battery Hold-Down Rod.

This is the j-hook rod that is on the side of the battery further away from the intake duct.

The tie down rod uses a j-hook and nut (sold separately) to secure your battery to the front of the battery tray and tie down bracket on the front of the battery. Because of their awkward mounting position and limited space, it is easy to drop or lose these during routine service.
