OEM Crankshaft Position/Angle Sensor for 2005-2012 Nissan Pathfinders that are equipped with the VQ40DE engine. This sensor is responsible for communicating the angle of the crankshaft to the ECM. Failing sensors can cause hard or no starts, cutting out, misfire, and reduced power. Often the earliest signs of a failing sensor will be dropping RPM while cruising or under light load.
The VQ platform is quite sensitive to this sensor and often aftermarket sensors do not work. Save the headache and avoid losses by repairing your pathfinder correctly the first time with OEM Nissan Parts.
Nissan has updated this sensor to a metal cap and the connector may be clocked 180 degrees. This is the current sensor that is used by Nissan.
Note: This sensor does not come with an O-ring. A replacement O-ring can be found HERE.
