OEM VQ35DE Camshaft Position Sensor (Driver)

I requested a black plastic sensor but z1 sent a silver one instead

Fixed the problem I was having

I had a bank 1 exhaust camshaft position sensor on my revup going out that spit out codes P1078 periodically and caused my idle to go up to around 1000-1100 when it did. I originally got one of these from a nissan stealership for 170 dollars when my bank 2 intake went out. The one I received from z1 was the updated hitachi model as well which is known to be way better than the old ones with the plastic HE housings. Hitachi does make the actual oem part but the clip connector plastic was a different color than the one from the dealership I received previously a few months ago but they are the same part. Very glad I found these available on z1, if I had done 1 thing differently it would have been to do all of the camshaft sensors at once, they seem to fail fairly prematurely (mine started going out at just 90k miles with normal driving). No more CEL and no more strange idle, even pulls like it used to now, thanks Z1

Z1 is a great brand but for some reason for my 04 g35 coupe this sensor worsened my car causing it to stall and not even want to start at moments and I thought it was my vehicle but once I replaced it with the bad sensor my car would start with no problem.

fixed my running issue and has been great for 2 years + now.

Had a idling issue, once I replaced the sensors it ran well, I have a VQDE REV UP so I needed 2 of these

Worked perfect only thing I wish is that I was guaranteed the new improved version of this sensor. I asked one of the online support people and they said that they don’t know which one I’ll receive but both are good.

It’s more expensive than aftermarket but it absolutely works 100%. I purchased an aftermarket one for a quick fix and it didn’t work at all. I then ordered 4 of these for my revup to replace the bad ones and my 350 started right up with 0 issues.
