Z1's Nissan Frontier Speaker Upgrade Package takes the guesswork out of audio enhancement, providing everything needed to simply upgrade the door speakers in your 2022+ Frontier.

This isn’t just a set of loose speakers — each AudioControl PNW driver comes pre-mounted in a custom Z1 adapter housing, making installation as close to plug-and-play as it gets. The assemblies bolt directly into place, with no modification required to clear the larger magnets. Choose Your Rear Setup: Available with either coaxial (standard) or component speakers for the rear doors, so you can match your upgrade to your preferences.

1. Coaxial Speakers use tweeters mounted in the center of the primary driver inside the door panel. This is the standard speaker type for the Nissan Frontier and requires no modifications to the door panel to install.
2. Component Speakers move the tweeters off of the primary driver and into the door card. This moves higher frequency sounds closer to ear level and produces superior quality audio compared to coaxial speakers. Component speakers require you to cut a hole in the door panel and are visible once installed.

The factory head unit in base-audio trucks applies EQ shaping to the audio signal, including a high-frequency boost around 6–7 kHz. While unlikely to bother most listeners, it can be softened using the built-in treble adjustment, a phone EQ or streaming app, or an external DSP. Rockford Fosgate vehicles or those with an aftermarket head unit are not affected.
