These quarter turn t-nuts are intended to be used with Z1's Dash Platform for the Nissan Frontier and Nissan Xterra, allowing you to install accessories and mounts without removing the panel from your dash. Just thread your fastener into the nut, drop it in place in the slot, and lift/turn to center and tighten the fastener. The t-nut will grab the channel, letting you tighten the fastener without having to touch it on the other side.
