This is the OEM transmission mount for the 2008-2012 Nissan Pathfinder models equipped with the 5.6L powertrain.
This mount is responsible for lowering vibrations on the transmission. Over time the bushings in the transmission mount may wear down. Primarily it secures the transmission to the mid-crossmember, while dampening any road and transmission vibrations. When this mount fails, excessive transmission vibrations and noise is transmitted through the car.
