Mufflers are known for being the root of a lot of exhaust leaks. If you live in the north or near a beach, it is common for a muffler to begin to rust which later will cause an exhaust leak. Sometimes the interior insulation will deteriorate and shoot out the tail pipe which will require you to replace your muffler.

Note: This will not fit trucks with the long bed option.
