This is the OEM Grooved Idler Pulley for the 2005+ Nissan Frontier equipped with the QR25DE. The idler pulley is responsible for guiding and maintaining tension on the drive belt. As the bearings in the pulley wear, you may begin to experience a high pitch squeaking or squealing. Over time this may result in complete bearing failure, causing the pulley to lock up and possibly break the belt.
