The Front Wheel Speed Sensor (also commonly referred to as the Vehicle Speed Sensor) is found attached to the front spindle on your Nissan Xterra. This device is used for recording the front wheel speed, and is used to control your vehicles speedometer, ABS system, and VDC (traction control.) When these sensors fail, any one or more of these systems may cease to function properly.
