Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX56/QX80 Front Spindle. OEM Spindle, also known as the Knuckle, attaches to the upper and lower control arms. It's purpose is to connect the suspension to the steering components while carrying the wheel hub and rotor. Usually, a broken or damaged Spindle will produce a few symptoms that can alert the driver. Possible problems include steering wheel vibration, steering wandering, and clunking noises.
