OEM 2013-2020 Infiniti QX60 and 2013+ Nissan Pathfinder EVAP Canister Vent (Purge) Valve for models equipped with the VQ35DE and VQ35DD powertrain.
The EVAP Purge Valve is located on the EVAP (Charcoal) canister and is part of the EVAP (Evaporative Emissions) Control System. This Valve prevents fuel vapors from the gas tank from escaping into the air. Under certain conditions while the engine is running, the fuel vapors are purged from the charcoal / EVAP canister at the rear of the vehicle and burned inside of the engine. Over time, the solenoid in these valves can stick or fail resulting in CEL Illumination and rough running.
