The spark plug is responsible for supplying a spark to ignite the air/fuel mixture in each cylinder via the ignition coils. Over time the electrodes may wear out and not provide a spark. These are direct replacement Spark Plugs that cost a fraction of the cost of OEM. If your old spark plugs have oil inside the tube seals then you should replace the valve covers, since the tube seals are made into the valve cover and cannot be replaced separately.
