The Z1 Direct-Fit Intercooler for the Nissan 350Z is an application-specific intercooler developed to be used as a component in Z1's upcoming supercharger kit.

The core of Z1's intercooler was designed to offer the best balance between cooling performance and airflow. Our goal was to cool the charge air as efficiently as possible while minimizing pressure drop through the core. To improve cooling efficiency, offset fins are employed to increase the surface area inside the core. Offset fins on the ambient side of the core allow for greater heat dissipation and more effective cooling of charge air, resulting in more consistent performance. During our testing, we found that Z1's intercooler produced 10hp more than the closest competitors' intercooler on the same car and under identical conditions.

A 2'' V-band port is tig-welded to the side of the tank to provide the installer with the ability to attach any BOV that uses a 50mm V-band, such as Tial or Turbosmart.
