
The Z1 Titan Swap Front Suspension Package is a complete front-end conversion designed to transform the suspension geometry of the Nissan Xterra and Frontier. Centered around the Z1 X-Pro TSG (Titan Swap Geometry) Coilovers, this system integrates wider, longer suspension components to increase track width, improve stability, and unlock mid-travel suspension performance.
Rather than modifying isolated components, this package delivers a cohesive system engineered to work together, ensuring proper fitment, suspension cycling, and steering function across the entire front end.
Titan Swap Geometry
A Titan swap replaces factory-width suspension components with Nissan Titan geometry control arms, increasing track width and improving suspension travel. This wider stance enhances stability, improves turning radius, and improves the entire off-road performance of your truck.
This package includes OE-style Titan lower control arms paired with Z1 forged adjustable upper control arms, restoring proper alignment range and ball joint angles while allowing fine adjustment of camber and caster. The result is a suspension system that not only gains width and capability but also maintains proper geometry and predictable handling. To round this off, a Z1 Eccentric Lock-Out Kit is included to ensure your alignment stays right where you need it.

Wider control arm geometry means your factory sway bar will no longer work. If you want to keep a functional sway bar, you'll need to source a Titan sway bar.

X-Pro TSG Coilovers
At the core of the system are the Z1 X-Pro TSG Coilovers, specifically engineered for Titan swap applications. The TSG coilovers feature a digressive valve profile, delivering controlled low-speed damping for body motion management, while allowing increased fluid flow at higher shaft speeds to absorb impacts and rough terrain. A 56mm piston within a 2.44” steel shock body provides increased oil volume and thermal stability, while the gas-charged monotube design ensures consistent performance under repeated off-road cycling.
The X-Pro is available with two spring rates: 500 lbs-in and 600 lbs-in. For most Titan-swap applications, we prefer the 600lb spring.
Steering System Options
To accommodate the increased track width, extended steering components are required. This package offers two tie rod configurations:
Z1 Heim Outer Tie Rods (Base Option) - Z1’s heim-style outer tie rods are designed for strength and adjustability, featuring your choice of aluminum or stainless steel bodies. These are engineered with a specific adjuster length that allows them to be used with factory Xterra and Frontier inner tie rods, simplifying installation while maintaining proper steering geometry.
Note: This option includes outer tie rods only.
OEM Titan Inner and Outer Tie Rods - For a fully OEM-style solution, Titan inner and outer tie rods can be selected. This configuration replaces both inner and outer components to match Titan steering geometry and length.
Driveline and Supporting Components
To complete the conversion, the package includes an option for M205 axle shafts (if you are installing a Titan front differential) or extended-length CV axle shafts for the factory R180 differential, ensuring proper engagement and reliability with the increased track width and suspension travel. These components are critical to maintaining drivetrain integrity in a Titan swap configuration. Your factory axles will not work.
