This bracket was designed to bridge the gap between the original intake support bracket and the intake manifold when installing a Z1 Intake Manifold Spacer. When installing an intake manifold spacer, the plastic plenum is moved upwards, away from the support bracket located on the passenger (right) side of the engine. This bracket is installed between the original support bracket and the plastic manifold, bridging the gap between the two and allowing you to attach the intake manifold support as intended by Nissan.
If purchasing a Z1 Intake Manifold Spacer new, we have great news! This bracket is now included with all purchases. It is only necessary to purchase this bracket if you have previously purchased a Z1 Intake Manifold Spacer and wish to have the original bracket in place.
