This is the OEM Rear Main Crankshaft Engine Seal for your 2005-2015 Nissan Xterra equipped with the VQ40DE powerplant.

Also referred to as the Rear Main Seal, this part is essential to inspect and replace (where necessary) when replacing the clutch, servicing the transmission or rebuilding the engine. This will ensure oil does not leak into the transmission bellhousing and contaminate the clutch assembly.
