OEM Outer Tie Rod is located at the very ends of the power steering rack. The Outer Tie Rod is what actually connects your power steering rack to the wheel/knuckles. Over time, this spherical bearing will wear out and develop excessive play. This play can worsen and become a serious issue if not addressed. Excessive play in the steering assembly can cause vibrations, alignment issues, increased tire wear, and poor handling.
