The Radiator Coolant Reservoir regulates the amount of coolant flowing through a running engine to regulate the temperature within it. As the engine temperature rises, coolant will flow throughout the internals and into the coolant reservoir until it is sent back to the radiator as your car cools down. These Tanks are known for cracking over time due to wear and tear from hot coolant consistently flooding into them. The plastic mounting tab can also be easily cracked if the mounting bolt is torqued down too much.
