Nissan Frontier / Pathfinder / Xterra Radiator Shroud for the models equipped with the 4.0L (VQ40) powertrain. This shroud aids in assisting the radiator cooling fan, this shroud funnels the air being pulled through the radiator into the radiator fan itself.
This shroud also protects both you and the cooling fan from coming in contact with each other. Operating a vehicle without the Fan Shroud can lead to inadequate cooling of the engine and pose a threat to anyone who is working under the hood.
**Per Nissan those equipped with the early design radiator shroud (21477-EA200 & 21476-EA200) will now use the late design shroud. Due to a clip change, these parts must be replaced together (upper & lower) for proper functionality.**
