Ordered brand new springs and it still won’t open the trunk high enough to clear the latch. Guess I have to get the stronger Z1 hatch poppers :/

The lift springs on my 04 Z were crushed and were not lifting the hatch when the release was pressed. These sorted out the issue perfectly.

Haven't installed them yet but the construction looks just as solid as the originals hopefully it'll ask another 19 years on my 2004 350Z.

I had to replace both of them because my trunk wouldn’t open by just holding the trunk button because i was missing of these so i replaced both of them and it worked like a charm

Needed a replacement for my broken lift spring to see if it would help lift my hatch. These work well and help pop the hatch up, keeping you from having to press the hatch lift button twice.

My original lift spring wore out and also cracked when I was trying to do the penny trick, so I had to replace them and now I can open the trunk as intended.
