Designed with the off-road enthusiast in mind, the Prerunner Rear Bumper transforms the Nissan Frontier into a trail-ready machine that’s as functional as it is aggressive. Constructed from 50 mm DOM tube steel, this bumper provides the strength and rigidity needed to handle punishing terrain while shedding the unnecessary weight of traditional full-plate designs. The result is a lighter, more agile setup that improves vehicle dynamics without compromising durability.
THE DETAILS
Every element of the bumper has been carefully engineered for real-world use. An integrated tow structure ties directly into the frame, ensuring dependable strength when towing or recovering, while dual 3/4-inch shackle mounts provide secure recovery points. Provisions for auxiliary lighting are built directly into the bumper, allowing for clean and seamless installation of rear-facing pod lights that improve visibility on night runs.
The high-clearance profile is sculpted to maximize departure angle, reducing rear overhang and giving the Frontier the ability to climb, descend, and power through obstacles with confidence. Unlike bulky plate bumpers that drag or snag on the trail, this tubular design flows with the lines of the truck while keeping the weight off the rear end. Finished in a rugged, trail-ready powder coat, the bumper resists chips and corrosion to maintain its looks through mud, rocks, and weather alike.
