The Axle Bearing Retainer secures the axle shaft assembly to the axle housing. It is very common for these Retainers to corrode beyond use or become damaged during removal. The Retainer Assembly comes complete with Studs, and this Set ensures you have the necessary Nuts for proper installation as well.
