This Schwaben spring compressor is built with ease of use and safety in mind. Beefy clamping jaws are wide enough to grip spring coils securely. Spring-loaded locking pins in each clamping hook lock them against the coils so they cannot slip off or turn sideways.

Drop Forged construction for years of use. The large heavy duty compression screw opens the clamping jaws to 300 mm (11.8 inches), and may be turned by hand or spun with an impact gun.

NOTE: Use caution when compressing coil springs. Compressed coil springs store a large amount of energy; improper use of this tool can result in serious injury.
