Schwaben Pinch Weld Protector

Very disappointed in this product and Z1.The description on the Z1 site indicated it was a universal fit. You would think it would work for a Z but it doesn’t work for my 350Z. Doesn’t look like Z1 tested this product which would take seconds to realize it is not compatible. The jacking point recommended by Nissan for a 350 Z is over a pinch weld. One side of the pinch weld is higher than the other side — asymmetrical. But this pinch weld protector assumes that the height of the pinch weld on both sides is the same. Using this product could create a safety issue since the pinch weld protector will tilt on top of the jack. It is rubbery and that helps but still questionably safe. I returned mine.

Worth the price and easy to use. One side has 1 groove, the other side, two grooves, set further apart. Would work in any situation without bending the pinch weld. Good protection.

Great for no damage lifting

Contrary to what the other reviewer said, these actually save your pinch welds from bending or cracking. This can be used on any vehicle that has pinch welds, not just Nissans. I wish these were available years ago.

Such Trash. These do nothing but compress entirely when under the load of you vehicle and end up bending your pinch welds and crack them. Better off lifting the car in other areas of the the undercarriage.
