OEM Water Crossover Pipe Gasket for all 2005-2015 Nissan Xterra models.
It is recommended to replace this gasket any time the water crossover pipe is removed. This Gasket is used on each end of the Water Outlet, and provides a tight seal to ensure air is kept out so coolant can flow properly and refrain from leaking out of the cooling system.
If you notice coolant leaking in the area around the thermostat or coolant inlet/outlet assemblies, it is recommended to assess the condition of these gaskets and replace them if they are worn or damaged.
