Z1's Fuel Return System is a complete bolt-on kit that converts your 370Z's returnless fuel system to a return-style fuel system. This is an essential upgrade for forced induction applications, such as Z1's Supercharger Kit, and provides enough fuel flow to support in excess of 700hp.
THE RAILS
Z1 Billet Fuel Rails are constructed from 6061 billet aluminum and finished with a black hard anodize. They feature 6AN female ports on both ends of the fuel rail and retain the use of OEM Fuel Pulsation Dampers, allowing you to reuse your existing FPD's. These rails were designed to support the use of any OE-style fuel injectors, such as Deatchwerks, Injector Dynamics, etc. Stainless steel allen head hardware attaches the rails to the lower plenum, complimenting the anodized finish while also providing exceptional corrosion resistance. When purchased with our complete fuel system, they're plumbed in a parallel configuration to provide the most consistent fuel rail pressure.

THE LINES
Fuel is delivered to the rails through pre-assembled 6AN lines. The braided stainless steel lines provide structure and protection to the inner, Teflon-coated lines while the black abrasion-resistant PVC coating on the outside prevents the lines from getting frayed or worn as a result of rubbing against suspension members or the frame rails. Fuel is plumbed at the rail in a parallel configuration to provide the most consistent rail pressure. To reduce engine bay clutter, excess fuel is returned through the original supply line and lines are routed to the rails by passing underneath the lower intake plenum. All lines come pre-assembled with the appropriate 6AN swivel and quick-disconnect fittings.

THE REGULATOR
Fuel pressure is controlled using Z1's Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. This regulator has an adjustment range of 40-75 PSI and is easily adjusted underhood with basic hand tools. Included with the regulator is a vehicle-specific mounting bracket that mounts the regulator in a pre-defined position under the hood. A 1/8 NPT port can be found on the front of the regulator body, allowing you to install your favorite fuel pressure gauge in an easy to view location. The original in-tank pressure regulator is deleted and replaced with Z1's Billet Regulator Delete.

THE FILTER
A high-flowing in-line fuel filter is installed in the fuel feed line. This filter features a replaceable ethanol-safe 10-micron stainless mesh element that is safe for use with all pump fuels, including E85. The body of the filter is machined from billet aluminum and protects the filter from impact abrasion under the car. To mount the filter, a billet aluminum clamp and stainless steel bracket attach to existing provisions on the underside of the car

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
In the product options, you may select to add a Z1 Billet Fuel Pump Hat to your fuel system. This pump hat was designed to integrate perfectly with all components in the fuel return system and provides an easy solution for returning excess fuel to the tank. If not purchasing the billet pump hat, you will receive a single bulkhead fitting and will need to modify your existing plastic pump hat.
You may also choose to add fuel injectors, new OEM Fuel Pulsation Dampers and O-Rings, and fuel pump. All optional items include any necessary installation components, such as injector adapters, fuel pump relay kit, and 10mm or 8mm fuel pump hoses. Please note that if purchasing the Walbro 525 fuel pump, additional modifications of the pump housing and basket will be necessary. This is an extensive installation and details are not covered in the installation manual.
