Get this with the motor mounts and you will not be disappointed. Get them as a combo of urethane or solids. Do not mix. Just my opinion.

Definitely will add more vibrations inside the car for a while, but it gets better once they settle in. But the real downside is it allows sound to travel much more than before, so you may hear noises you aren't used to. It's probably nothing sound mats can't fix. For my car it improved take-off a little better, but I'm sure everything will have a dramatic improvement once the subframe and differential bushings are upgraded, too.

Transmission is easier to shift when accelerating, install only took about 50 minutes. Vibrations do increase, but after driving the car for a week, the vibrations are hardly noticable.

Honestly the best bushing/mount ever.. I love how engaging the shifts are... you can feel each and every up shift, to down shift. The vibrations is something you would need to get use too if you’re gonna pick up this Mount. Definitely worth it.

One of my favorite mods I’ve done so far because of the feeling, price, and how easy it was to install. Most people say it’s a small difference but I feel like it’s pretty noticeable, gives a great smooth vibration that improves the driving experience and makes the shifts feel firm. Fantastic bang for your buck and time, definitely recommend.

At first it felt a bit harsh because I have solid engine mounts but after a few weeks of driving it’s really not that bad now. I love it!

Fit nice and easy intall.

For clarity I added urethane transmission mounts, engine mounts, and rear dif bushings at the same time. Highly recommend. The driveline feels extremely taught. When you modify the accelerator the power is at the wheels. No split second delays anymore, the car is so much more responsive. Obviously some increase in NVH (I assume largely from engine mounts).

Not only does it look nice it performs well along with my 6 shooter motor mounts

I got this for my 05 auto 350z. It was an easy install and it was worth it! Just another piece of the picture in removing unnecessary driveshaft and engine play. It's minor until you get the rear diff brace, rear diff solid bushings, and solid motor mounts. Then this little guy makes a big difference

2006 G35 Sedan. Replaced a wore out transmission bushing. This has plenty of adjustability.

10/10 KEEP OEM BOLTS. i had to run to the junk yard for the bolts but I’ll live. It’s 3 bolts.

Great quality part from Z1 as always. Improves shifting feel, speed, and reduced shifter movement. Helps achieve accurate confident shifts when putting power down. Minimal gear noise will be heard but if you have a catback more than likely you won’t notice it. Pair this with the Diff bushing for joyful responsive driving experience.

This is the best, my oem mount wasnt super worn out but after changing them out you can feel a massive difference and the additional noise is really not much, for mine it actually reduced the noise! thank you z1!

Super product, I wish I would have gotten it a long time ago, definitely feel more vibration and noise but it's well worth it, it puts the power down so much better and with my old mount my transmission was starting to pop out of second gear because it was wheel hopping so much and this mount solved my problem!!!!

Phenomenal product. If you’re looking at this part I encourage you to get it. This mount got rid of my shifter slop, giving it a more precise, notchy feel. I’ve owned my g35 for 13 years, wish I would’ve installed this part 13 years ago. In regards to nvh, I haven’t noticed any difference at all. This install only took about an hour. (40 min dedicated to one of the oem mount’s two bolts having been cross-threaded from the factory). This install should take less time than watching an install video on YouTube. I did the job with the front of my car on ramps and a low profile floor jack underneath (from the front) to slightly lift the transmission. I’d recommend jack stands unless you’re fine being squished while working.

Very good product, made shifts more crisp. Also if you track day, and track day the car hard, it helped eliminate more drivetrain movement and binding. It does move some vibrations into the cabin if you are concerned about that. However these cars have so much age to them, this along with the rear end bushings and collars, makes a huge difference.

This mount kept the transmission in place very well and got rid of any slop my car had. Shifts were as smooth as can be. Had to remove it however, because I had so much vibrations, loud engine sounds (sounds like a v8 inside), and pretty bad flywheel chatter. Not cool for a daily driver. Poly engine mounts are still in and don’t feel anything different with those.

Does the job way better than stock. Noticeable difference in the drivetrain feel and response.

This was a very easy install!

Had this mount put in when I had the transmission out for a new flywheel/clutch install. This mount keeps the transmission planted in place and gets rid of the slop you get with old OEM bushings/mounts. Shifts feel much crisper, the shifter no longer bounces about as you row through the gears on a hard launch. Definitely worth the money. Recommended to replace the motor mounts while you're at it, I got Z1's solid mounts and after replacing those and this trans mount, you can IMMEDIATELY feel the difference. The car feels so much more "connected" after putting these parts in. Hard to describe, just order the parts and feel the difference for yourself!

Highly recommend for a direct replacement of stock bushing. Easy to install also!

Previously, I had trouble going into 5th gear and this mount made it less of a hassle. Did this in my driveway in like 20min. Kind of a tight area to get the bolts out but it’s doable.

Shifting is easier while under lateral load with this more rigid bushing.

Couldn't of asked for a better set up running this and the aw motor mounts. Made a world of difference and the car still feels smooth.

It did make the shifts feel more positive however it is not as smooth feeling as stock. You definitely get more felt vibration through the shifter but I think it was worth it for the better shifting feel. Maybe not the best thing for a daily driver.

Z1's poly trans mount is GREAT like the diff bushings. The ENTIRE drivetrain is planted now. For the first ~500 miles, the NVH will be pretty bad, especially during startup and while accelerating. I think this is due to my G35 having the automatic transmission. Either way, this mount is great, and power transfer is even better now. From a standstill, my G35 will spin tires since the power transfer is so good (and because the stock 17s with 215 tires don't have much grip lol).

Really impressed with this mount. The vibration is noticeable but not enough to really bother you. Installation was super easy and quick. And surprisingly shifting gears feels 10x better than it did before. Overall great product.

There were some other reviews from dudes mentioning increased NVH in the cabin of their car. They must either have super hearing, or be complete wussies. No noise at all. Stiffens up your trans and feels amazing if paired with a short throw shifter and some poly diff mounts.

I can really fill the difference . Car handles better. I would recommend this to others.

Installed with the six-shooter mount. The shift feel is precise and the "play" is taken out. It'll be even more precise if installed with a short shifter, which is on my list. One of the other great purchases for the car!

Just like the motor mounts, I'm installed these in multiple customer cars and our own personal cars. They give great feedback and solid shifts. I haven't had any complaints about comfortability from customers or myself

Installed this on my 06 z when I did the z1 mild performance clutch and light flywheel. Be aware about the warning that you will have more cabin noise because it is LOUD. With that said, shifter feel is amazing, precise and super notchy so it makes you feel confident on where you put the shifter.

I had purchased this mount along with the solid motor mounts and i must say that the craftsmen ship of this is outstanding having a machinist background. But anyways, this installation was also a breeze to do, just place a jack under your trans with a 2x4 and unbolt the mount and bolt it back up. Was done in less than 30 mins on this mount. After I had put back together my G35 and took it around the block, apart from the obvious more vibrations, which is not a bad thing. You want to feel your car and what its doing or not doing in my opinion, so to me the vibrations are not a con to this review. I don't actually have any cons to this. After taking out the shot mount and putting this in, the biggest thing off the bat is how well it shifts, way better than before or from factory I would say. It shifts are more precise, firmer, you can rev match and hit the gears better. And when you pull on the car she responds quite well, like your getting everything out of the motor and trans without the slop and bounciness of the stock bushings. Well worth the investment. Would highly recommend this along with solid motor mounts. And i daily my G35. Would Recommend

**READ BEFORE YOU BUY** For the first ~500 miles after installation, the NVH will be incredibly terrible. You will feel and hear every gear tooth with every shift. Every plastic panel in the interior will vibrate and rattle. Every engine pulse will be felt while driving. You will think you did something wrong, but you didn't. It's just the mount. After the 500 miles the car will feel just like normal and you will forget you ever installed a 90a transmission mount. Daily driving feels the same, I don't understand how people say the transmission shifts better since this mount doesn't affect it. On a track though, it feels much better. Less overall slop and no transmission movement. I assume it's also great for drag racing. Overall, a great buy and highly recommend to anyone!!

My transmission issues are a thing of the past. This week I pulled the engine and trans out of my G35 sedan, and replaced the OE trans and engine mounts with Z1's poly mounts. These things so far are awesome. There is a noticeable increase in NVH in the cabin, but I don't mind. I also have sound mat covering my entire interior floorboard. I could see how the increase in NVH would be a bit annoying to someone that hasn't done so, but boo-hoo on them. The increased precision and more direct connection from this mount in conjunction with my poly engine mounts is fantastic, and worth every penny. Depending on your driving habits, I'd definitely recommend these.

This was a simple mod I did to my 350z. The shifting is more precised with this mount compared to the old mount I removed. There is little to NHV with this mount. This is another Z1 product I'm highly pleased with.

For those wondering about the Z1 poly motor mounts and trans mount. Installed mine last night night and absolutely loving them. Throttle input is much snappier, like an ON/OFF switch, esp at WOT. The transmission feels amazing, shifting is very smooth and precise. Remember playing Need for Speed Underground back in the day?? I want you to close your eyes and awaken your inner ricer, put on Get Low by Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys and think back on the sound that Si Blue Honda Civic you started out with made when shifting gears roaming the streets of Olympic City, sounded so freakin awesome right?!?! Made your 13 year old self nearly cream your Joe Boxers. It's that same noise Brian Earl Spilner's 16 speed Mitsubishi Eclipse made when he was rowing through gears before topping out at 140mph that morning (RIP Paul Walker????) Well anyway, think of that awesome sound and thats how crispy the shifting feels like after these mounts.

Just by taking out the old one and feeling the soft, mushy old rubber wiggle in my hands I already knew the Z1 transmission mount was going to be a fantastic upgrade and sure enough, shifting feel has improved immensely and clutch engagement / disengagement is much more precise, providing a direct connection between me behind the wheel, and what I want the car to do. Perfect product! Thanks Z1!

This mount is ten times better than the oem mount! Shifting does feel much more solid. Little to no excessive NVH. Awesome product z1

Installed this new mount, as part of my CD009 transmission swap and Z1 clutch and lightened flywheel on my z33. Honestly, this mount is awesome! There really is no vibration or harshness in the cabin that I can physically feel, which is great! However, you do hear the sound of your transmission echoing inside your cabin, which I think sounds awesome. Your exhaust note sounds exactly the same on the outside. But when inside of the car, I think the echo from the trans mount combined with your exhaust note makes it sound much more throaty. Awesome product Z1!

Excellent craftmanship, the fit and finish is a work of art. Installatoin is straight forward and a direct fit. The transmission shifts (automatic) are more noticably solid, with very little increase in noise or vibration. A must upgrade for the trans (auto or manual).

Excellent craftmenship, very solid piece. Noticed that the shifts (auto) were more crisp/ tight, especaily with a shift kit. Noticed a bit more vibration through the sterring wheel, nothing annoying or overwheming. All in all, a good complement to the rest fo the G body/structural improvements (coilovers, strut braces, chassis braces, etc.). A good solid feel.

Its sooo much better than the oem mount. The first thing i noticed was the feeling of the shifter going into gear. Much much more crisp. downshifting feels better. As for the NVH(noise, vibration, harshness)....I would not recommend this thing for a daily driven car, unless you really want your car to have the sound of your engine and transmission echoing inside your cabin at all times. It is especially bad from 1-3k rpm. I also have a engine torque damper...maybe thats why....? But overall if you ever track your car..or just want a better feel from the shifter. Get this thing!! its AWESOME!! installation took 15min(not including the time to jack up the car).
