The Z1 Drivetrain Support Kit for the Infiniti Q50 Sedan and Q60 Coupe includes three of our most popular products, targeted at reducing movement of the rear differential and improving the overall performance of your car.
Urethane Differential Bushings
Z1 Differential Bushings replace your Q50 or Q60's failure-prone factory bushings with a performance-oriented solution. When designing these bushings, our engineers took inspiration from our rear differential bushings for Nissan Z Cars, using an 80a durometer urethane material that offers the best comfort without compromising performance. Because the design of the subframe requires the removal of the factory subframe sleeve, a new two-piece sleeve was machined from 6061 billet aluminum. Once the original sleeve is removed, the new billet sleeve is installed in the subframe. The urethane bushing is housed inside of the billet sleeve and a steel sleeve is pressed inside the center of the bushing to lock it in place. In the front mount ears of the differential, the factory bushings are pressed out and replaced with urethane bushings. These bushings limit differential twist under load, reducing wheel hop and improving power delivery.
Please be aware that these bushings are recommended for professional installation only! Due to the design of the factory subframe, special care must be taken to prevent damage to the subframe when installing.
Subframe Bushing Collars
Maintaining subframe rigidity in relation to the chassis helps maintain suspension geometry when under suspension load or drivetrain torque. Z1 Subframe Bushing Collars take up slop left by stock rubber subframe bushings to yield a more responsive and direct suspension while reducing wheel hop on aggressive launches. These 8-piece aluminum collars install above and below each of the four bushings and retain the stock anti-squat geometry. Installation can be completed in your driveway without any special tools, making this the most cost-effective solution. Because OEM rubber bushings are retained this offers minimal compromise in driving comfort and NVH.
Rear Differential Brace
The Z1 Rear Differential Brace provides additional support for the rear differential in your Infiniti Q50 or Q60, preventing drivetrain damage and accelerated wear during spirited driving and improving power delivery. By utilizing cast 304 stainless steel, we were able to manufacture a brace without the possibility of failure from welds or joints. The Z1 Differential Brace utilizes pre-existing holes in the bottom of the rear subframe to provide additional support. The additional support reduces strain on the differential bushing, cover, and stud while simultaneously aiding in the reduction of wheel hop and driveline slop. This brace also serves as a durable jacking point, making servicing of the car easier when jacking from the rear!
