Nissan Titan Skid Plate covers your transmission and transfer case on 2016+ models, protecting them from impacts or damage when driving off-road.
This custom-formed laser-cut panel is manufactured from 5mm thick 5052 aluminum, providing an excellent strength-to-weight ratio when compared to heavy steel panels. Custom-formed brackets use pre-existing mount locations on the truck, providing a complete bolt-on installation. To improve off-road performance, Z1's Skid Plate was raised, providing more ground clearance than the factory plastic panel it replaces. Additionally, this panel is made from a single solid sheet of aluminum absent of holes or joints. This reinforces its durability and prevents sticks or other debris from passing through gaps in the panel and transmission fluid lines or wiring.
This skid plate is essential for off-road use! From the factory, your Titan comes with no method of protection other than a flimsy plastic panel, and that's only found on Pro-4X models. Impact damage can be catastrophic if the oil pan is punctured, rendering serious damage to the transmission and/or transfer case.
