Z1's Adjustable Leaf Spring Shackles for the Nissan Xterra are an easy-to-install off-road accessory used to lift the rear of your truck without the removal of any major suspension components
Z1 shackles are manufactured from 10mm thick steel plate, finished with a durable black powder coat for corrosion resistance. Each shackle offers a base lift of 0.7'' with an additional 0.7'' of lift available at a second marked hole, offering a total lift of 1.5''. They can be combined with virtually any aftermarket leaf spring for added lift and include all necessary hardware needed for installation. These shackles were designed to work with OEM leaf springs and bushings and are compatible with either genuine OEM bushings or OEM-fit polyurethane replacements like ARB or Dobinsons.
When designing this shackle, we didn't just cut and bend plates with fancy hardware. Our approach was to correct issues seen in other shackles on the market. Some shackles are manufactured with little dimensional accuracy and are less wide than the mount ears on the leaf spring. This leads to accelerated bushing wear as the outsides of the shackle cut into the bushing, eventually leading to contact between the shackle and leaf spring. Z1 shackles are engineered to overlap the entirety of the bushing, preventing premature wear or failure.
Optional Extras: Choose between standard hardware or greaseable hardware in the product options! Greaseable hardware has a channel in the center of the bolt, feeding four "holes" that are used to supply grease to the bushing through a single fitting on the head of the bolt. This specialized hardware makes it easy to do routine suspension maintenance, reducing wear on the bushings and helping keep your bushings lubricated and quiet!
