Z1 Nissan Frontier '05+ Stainless Steel Brake Lines

I replaced my old lines with these stainless ones. No complaints on them whatsoever. They were relatively easy to install, they look and feel really nice. My braking is so much better however I replaced my calipers, pads and rotors at the same time as the lines. I figured since I needed new calipers I might as well do the lines too.

Great for a medium lift. 3" works great. 3" is just enough to make the rear lines too short for any major articulation. Definitely replace them if you have lifted slightly. 05 frontier nismo. Great construction, obvious difference from the stock rubber tubing.

Fit was spot on, and all attachment points work the same as OEM. Brake feel and power is much improved on my 2020 SV 2wd Frontier! Shipping to me was very quick too!!

The new lines are great, I opted for the extended lines after lifting my truck. The spongy brake pedal feel is gone and the last 50 or so feet before stop is noticeably better. Honestly, this one of the best upgrades I did to my truck. You can't go wrong with these stainless steel braided brake lines.

A small but noticeable improvement in brake pedal firmness, especially during the last 30 feet before coming to a stop.

I paired the SS brake lines with a Powerstop Z36 brake kit and I love the Frontier brake system now. Before that the OEM system was spongy and week. Not anymore!

Let me start with,"I don't leave reviews..." I ordered this set of Brake lines to replace the factory lines as an upgrade with the brake master cylinder as they have nearly 200K on them. I had an issue with one line at swivel where the male flare mates to the hard line. They would not seat and stop leaking under pressure. The reason for this review is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I simply sent an e-mail to support. I had a response the next business day as it was a weekend, requesting some photos. Then a response and 2 days later low and behold a new line to replace the leaking line on my door step. New line is leak free and I couldn't be happier. This is to say I am someone in the industry in the dealer network for Nissan / Infiniti with 25 years of experience both as a technician & management. There was no blame, no fuss just an adequate suggestion and a resolution. That is why I will be spending my dollars here when I need parts! Great Job Z1 your reputation is well earned!!!

When I ordered these from Z1 the process was quick and easy. The shipping time was extremely fast and I asked for some stickers and they gave me four big decals, couldn’t be happier with Z1! I have not installed them yet as they are for my titan swap but when I do install them I plan on updating. 5 stars all the way from communicating with customer service to shipping!

Got the extended version of the brake lines since the factory lines were getting pulled tight and stressed with rear under full droop with the complete OME suspension setup I have on it (~2"). The hoses appeared to be made very well, though the middle mount/isolator of the rears takes a bit to slide where needed, and when the rubber bushing pulls out it's basically impossible to get inserted back in the mount... ended up trimming off the shoulders of the bushing so I could get it inserted back into the mount. The hardware and copper washers are all really good quality. The extended front lines were maybe a bit long for my particular setup - best solution I ended up with is having the banjo bolt end mounted with the angle facing into the upright/hub and used some thermal protective wrap and aluminum tape on lower half of line to protect the areas right next to the uprights and add some heat and contact protection. Really makes for a clean and well relieved routing though. Hard to judge any performance benefit with how notorious the Frontier brake system is with it's soft pedal feel. Pedal was nice and extremely firm once initially installed and bled... once you reconnect battery and turn on vehicle it goes slack and feels a bit soft again. Main reason for getting these lines was needing additional length at rear because of suspension lift which was stressing the stock hoses. The extended length lines definitely gets rid of any such lift issue and works like it should as a brake line.
