VTC Timing Control Solenoid for all 2020+ Nissan Frontier models equipped with the 3.8L VQ38DD powertrain.

On the Nissan Frontier equipped with the VQ38DD powertrain, Nissan utilizes a technology known as Variable Timing Control (VTC). VTC varies camshaft timing by rotating the affected camshaft relative to the sprocket using a series of electronic actuators and hydraulic solenoids. OEM VTC Solenoids are located on the bottom of the VTC covers. These actuators are identical on both side covers and include a replacement O-Ring.
