These quarter-turn t-studs are intended to be used with Z1's Dash Platform, allowing you to install accessories and mounts without removing the panel from your dash. Just thread your fastener onto the stud, drop it in place in the slot, and lift/turn to center and tighten the fastener. The t-stud will grab the channel, letting you tighten the fastener without having to touch it on the other side.
