Frontier / Pathfinder / Xterra Secondary Timing Service Kit for the models equipped with the 4.0L V6 (VQ40DE) powertrain. If you hear a buzzing or whining noise coming from the Timing Chain area on your 2005-2010 VQ40 then it could possibly be a secondary timing system failing. This kit comes with everything you will need to replace both secondary timing chains and both of the secondary timing chain tensioner shoes.

* It is highly recommended to change your vehicles oil during this job. Add an OEM Oil Change Kit before adding kit to cart!

Includes:

• 2 - Camshaft Timing Chain (Secondary Chain)
• 2 - Tensioner Shoe (Not sold separately)
• 2 - VTC Cover O-Ring
• 2 - Front Cover O-Ring
• 1 - Front Crankshaft Seal
• 1 - Nissan Fluid Gasket (RTV)

Note: If the buzzing/whining noise does not increase with engine speed then this kit will not fix your problem.

While your timing cover is off make sure to replace/check your Timing Cover Gallery Gaskets
