Z1 Roof Light Mount Panel
The Z1 Roof Light Mount Panel replaces the factory front insert on the roof rack, located just forward of the wetbox. This is the same location used by PRO-4X models equipped with factory roof lights.
Steel cross beams provide a rigid mounting structure for auxiliary lighting, while aluminum fairing and support components help reduce weight. All steel components are zinc-plated and powder-coated for improved corrosion resistance.
An integrated aluminum fairing behind the light mounting surface is designed to help manage airflow across the front of the roof rack, minimizing the impact of added lighting on wind noise and on-road comfort.
The panel is optimized to support up to 6 3-inch lights, making it an ideal match for the Baja Squadrons included in this package.
Baja Designs Squadron Lights
Baja Designs Squadron lights are a proven choice for compact, high-output auxiliary lighting, offering strong performance in a 3-inch form factor. Their size makes them well-suited for roof-mounted applications where multiple lights are used to create a balanced and evenly distributed light pattern.
This package supports a six-light Squadron configuration and can be equipped with one of the following output options:
Squadron Sport
The most cost-effective option in the lineup, the Sport provides solid output for trail driving, overland use, and general off-road visibility. It is a great choice for drivers who want functional roof lighting without stepping into higher-output territory.
Squadron Pro
A step up in output, the Pro offers increased brightness and range while maintaining the same compact footprint. This option works well for frequent night driving on trails where forward visibility becomes more critical.
Squadron Racer
The highest-output option in the Squadron family, designed for maximum performance. The Racer delivers the strongest light output and longest reach, making it well-suited for high-speed desert use or drivers who want the most capable lighting setup available.
- Spot - Best for forward distance and higher-speed trail driving. Spot beams project light farther down the trail and are ideal when the roof lights are used as supplemental long-range illumination.
- Combo - A balanced option that blends forward reach with usable side coverage. Combo beams are well-suited for mixed-use off-road driving.
- Scene - Designed to place light directly around you, lighting the "Scene" in front of you. It projects light a short distance around you for maximum near-visibility.
Z1 Roof Light Wiring Grommet
Included with this package, Z1's Roof Light Wiring Grommet provides a clean, weather-sealed solution for routing wiring into the cabin. This eliminates exposed wiring and reduces the need for improvised pass-throughs.
INSTALLATION NOTE: Please be aware that Z1 DOES NOT include any wiring solution, as we cannot predict how you intend to power these lights. Z1 prefers a switched power panel, and is our default choice when adding bulk aftermarket lighting.
