Product Description

OEM o-ring that seals the oil cooler sandwich plate to the engine block on Nissan Frontiers, Xterras, and Pathfinders that are equipped with the 4.0L V6. This o-ring is required to be replaced any time the oil cooler sandwich plate is removed. Overtime, this o-ring will wear down and possibly begin to leak.

If you are purchasing a pre owned Xterra/Frontier. Must do replacement as OEM tend to get loose overtime and leak. Very easy installation, took over 30 minutes.

This will stop the slow leak behind the oil cooler where the filter mounts and it's a pretty easy job to do. So far I've only needed to replace this o-ring every 100k so it has a long lifespan.

I still put rtv on it but that's usually in a couple spots dab it cuz when you tighten it will spin til it hits that catch on top n smear n hold it in place

My 2010 Xterra oil cooler seal was leaking. This fix the problem. Make sure you do this at your oil change interval or else you will have to do a whole new oil change before it needs it (happened to me).
