This is an OEM Tailgate Striker Kit for your 2005-2015 Nissan Xterra.
Over time, these components tend to become worn or bent from repeated use and will cause the door not to secure or seal.
The Striker is screwed into the rear hatch with the Striker Screws and is used to latch the rear door shut. Replacing these simple but important parts with a genuine Nissan replacement will help to ensure optimal fitment, and that your rear door is securely shut each time it's put to use.
