OEM Coolant Thermostat for the 2005-2012 Nissan Pathfinder equipped with the VQ40DE powertrain.

The thermostat allows coolant to flow through the engine once it has reached opperating temperature.

Upon failure, the thermostat will become stuck open or closed. If the thermostat is stuck open the vehicle may not reach operating temperatures, and if it is stuck closed the engine can possibly over heat and damage other components.

Opens @ 177° - 182° F
